This drama was a heart rending story about the woman at the well. Her story can speak to all of us. Where we were broken before we came to God. How God knew where we were and went out of His way to reach us. Thank you, Jesus.
What a pleasure it was to have Bro. and Sis. Baglin with us again to preach the Word and worship with us.
Another wonderful dinner fundraiser. We had Enchilada Casserole, rice, beans, brownies, good food, good fellowship.
Madison, along with her sister-in-law Kathleen Hill, received a bible study from two ladies in our church. Madison saw her need to get baptized in Jesus Name.
Sandy is the mom to Michael and Madison Hill. Both Madison and Kathleen told her about baptism in Jesus Name and she wanted to make sure she was baptized correctly, also.
Through bible studies with two of our ladies in our church, Kathleen saw that she needed to get baptized in Jesus Name.
Sean’s wife, Madison, had a bible study with two of our ladies in the church. Madison saw the need for baptism in Jesus name and went home and told her husband. He saw his need and wanted to get baptized also.
Michael has been coming to church with his wife Kathleen for quite sometime. He saw the need to get baptized, both him and his wife.
Peter has been having Bible Studies with two men in our church and when he saw the need to get baptized in Jesus Name, he said “what does hinder me, I need to get baptized”. When Peter came up out of the water, God filled him with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost.
What a wonderful evening of fellowship and good food. Garlic/Mushroom chicken or pork ribs was the main course with potatoes, green beans, soup or salad, sourdough bread and cupcakes for dessert.
God is so good. Janet and her daughter Marie, after being given bible studies by Sis. Kitty, saw the need for baptism in Jesus Name. Thank you, Jesus.
We had a fantastic turn out and the homemade soup was delicious. Thank you all for coming and supporting Church on the Rock.
After our Christmas Program, we invited all who attended to join us in our Fellowship Hall for food and fellowship.
We had our annual Christmas Program this year. Attendance was awesome and you could feel the move of the Holy Ghost in the special singing. Starting out, our Sunday School Children sang “Where are you Christmas” with Dallas and Mandy taking center stage. Our trio of men - Bro. Mick, Bro. Raul and Bro. Nevarez sang “Look who just checked in” and our music department leader - Sis. Jennifer - sang “Mary did you know.”. With this song in mind, there couldn’t have been a dry eye. I was trying to take pictures while wiping the tears as she sang this song. “Look who just checked in.” sung by our trio, was a hand clapping song that just made your spirits lift up. As always, Church on the Rock strives to lift up the name of Jesus and proclaim the gospel to all who attend. After the program was over. Pastor Green gave a wonderful message and gave the plan of salvation to all who was in attendance. Thank you Pastor for your compassion to the lost.
We had our annual Christmas Dinner on December 8, 2018 in our Fellowship Hall. Oh my goodness did we have fun! The food was great, fellowship was great and games were the best. Thank you Pastor and Sis. Green for doing such a great job. You both are wonderful.
After receiving Bible Studies from Sis. Sandy, Annie saw the need for getting baptized in Jesus Name. Annie came up out of the water and God filled her with the power of the Holy Ghost. Praise God!
What a wonderful turn out we had for our annual Harvest Dinner. The food and fellowship was great. We played numerous games and the winners took home gifts. Thank you all for attending. Until next year!
A presentation based upon the song “Break Every Chain” was presented on Sunday Evening October 21st, 2018. Those who were part of the song, have a story to tell, and with most in the song, you can go to our testimonial page and read about their testimony. This was a very moving presentation and you could feel God’s presence during this presentation. Thank you everyone for joining us and recognizing how God can “break every chain” that the devil has bound us in, by the power of the Holy Ghost and deliverance in Jesus Name.
We were so blessed to have the pleasure of Bro. and Sis. Abbott and their daughter, Denae Abbott, join us. The Holy Ghost moved in such a marvelous way as The Abbotts worshipped in song and then Bro. Abbott with his anointed preaching. Thank you Bro. and Sis. Abbot and Sis. Denae for sharing with us your love for God both in music and in anointed preaching.
What an amazing wonderful time we had at Pacific Coast Camp this year. There was a record turn out and a mighty, mighty move of the Holy Ghost.
