Another wonderful dinner fundraiser. We had Enchilada Casserole, rice, beans, brownies, good food, good fellowship.
What a wonderful evening of fellowship and good food. Garlic/Mushroom chicken or pork ribs was the main course with potatoes, green beans, soup or salad, sourdough bread and cupcakes for dessert.
We had a fantastic turn out and the homemade soup was delicious. Thank you all for coming and supporting Church on the Rock.
After our Christmas Program, we invited all who attended to join us in our Fellowship Hall for food and fellowship.
We had our annual Christmas Program this year. Attendance was awesome and you could feel the move of the Holy Ghost in the special singing. Starting out, our Sunday School Children sang “Where are you Christmas” with Dallas and Mandy taking center stage. Our trio of men - Bro. Mick, Bro. Raul and Bro. Nevarez sang “Look who just checked in” and our music department leader - Sis. Jennifer - sang “Mary did you know.”. With this song in mind, there couldn’t have been a dry eye. I was trying to take pictures while wiping the tears as she sang this song. “Look who just checked in.” sung by our trio, was a hand clapping song that just made your spirits lift up. As always, Church on the Rock strives to lift up the name of Jesus and proclaim the gospel to all who attend. After the program was over. Pastor Green gave a wonderful message and gave the plan of salvation to all who was in attendance. Thank you Pastor for your compassion to the lost.
We had our annual Christmas Dinner on December 8, 2018 in our Fellowship Hall. Oh my goodness did we have fun! The food was great, fellowship was great and games were the best. Thank you Pastor and Sis. Green for doing such a great job. You both are wonderful.
What a wonderful turn out we had for our annual Harvest Dinner. The food and fellowship was great. We played numerous games and the winners took home gifts. Thank you all for attending. Until next year!
We were so blessed to have the pleasure of Bro. and Sis. Abbott and their daughter, Denae Abbott, join us. The Holy Ghost moved in such a marvelous way as The Abbotts worshipped in song and then Bro. Abbott with his anointed preaching. Thank you Bro. and Sis. Abbot and Sis. Denae for sharing with us your love for God both in music and in anointed preaching.
What an amazing wonderful time we had at Pacific Coast Camp this year. There was a record turn out and a mighty, mighty move of the Holy Ghost.
Each year in July we have our annual hot dog fundraiser. It has proven to be one of our most popular, hence the reason we bring it back year after year.
We had a great attendance and great food. Thank you all for supporting our dinners each month.
In Bible Studying with Sis. Loretta, Dale saw the need to get baptized in Jesus Name. Thank you Jesus!
This was our 4th annual Valentines Banquet. What a great success it was. The crew did an awesome job. We were served with appetizer's to start out, then either soup or salad. The main course was succulent prime rib, with au jus, mashed potatoes and green beans. To top off the evening our dessert was home made cinnamon rolls by none other than Sis. Sarah Davis. Bro. Raul Davis kept the children occupied with games and food.
What an awesome, awesome week. The Holy Ghost moved mightily the very first service. Children's Church was power packed with many of the children seeking for the infilling of the Holy Ghost
What an absolute wonderful time we had. We visited numerous Thrift Stores. Our first stop was at the "American Cancer Society". Then on to "That Baby Store". The final leg of our journey was to "The Kat Walk". Our ladies found numerous items to purchase and enjoyed the shopping camaraderie that only women can enjoy. We finished off the day going to lunch at the Olive Garden in Redding. Thank you Sis. Green and Sis. Nevarez for organizing this event for our ladies.
Thanks to all who came to our Spaghetti Dinner. The food was delicious and we had a wonderful time in fellowship with the saints and our visitors.
Many hands make like work. I want to thank Jennifer Womack, Emily and Mandy Peterson for helping with our work load. We even had a gentleman there, who would prefer to remain anonymous, but his initials are MP!
We were blessed to hear anointed preaching by Bro. Trevino. The word of God was timely and the Holy Ghost new exactly what we needed.
Hosted by Bro. Raul and Sis. Sarah, the Senior youth had a wonderful time. The first game they played was "Stacking the books of the Bible in order." GIRLS WON!! The second game they played was with marshmallows "Get as many marshmallows on your plate in 90 seconds." Again GIRLS WON!!! Thank you Bro. Raul and Sis. Sarah for taking time out of your busy schedules to host a fun evening for the Senior Youth.
What a fantastic time we had. Congratulations to the two ladies who head this up every year. Sis. Sarah Davis and Sis. Debbie Ann. I truly do believe this was the best one yet. Church on the Rock is looking forward to what these ladies have in store for us at our 4th annual Valentine's Banquet in 2018!
